Communications

Emails and newsletters can keep your audience engaged throughout your marketing funnel — if you’re consistent. As a communications professional, I’ve helped my clients keep their customers, fans, and even employees up-to-date by writing and sending press releases, newsletters, email campaigns, and more. I’ve also increased earned media by keeping my clients’ names in the news — for the right reasons.

120 Acupuncture Clinic needed a monthly email newsletter to help engage former clients and remind them to spread the word about their health journeys. This email, “Thinking About Having a Baby?“, was the June 2020 newsletter.

As the marketing manager for commercial airline software company Ultramain Systems, Inc., I was responsible for press releases such as this one, “Ultramain Systems to Provide Technical Log Software for Boeing“.
In this press release,  cloud consulting provider Paladin Group introduced their new office in Dallas, Texas.
As a SaaS consulting firm providing implementation services to enterprise organizations, ClosedWon often had to respect client wishes regarding competitive intelligence while still being able to discuss success within the company. In this press release, I was able to convey the importance of a project without giving away the big name of the company the project was for.
As the marketing manager for historic scenic tourist train the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, I was tasked with designing, planning, and executing new events to bring in more visitors. This press release announced the Spookeasy, a Halloween train with a speakeasy theme, offering a new dinner train format with musical entertainment and a nod to the train’s 1920s heyday.
